The blades on these left-handed scissors are set so that,
whichever way up you hold them, the left blade is
always on top and the cutting line is visible from the
right side. Conversely, with right-handed scissors you
would expect to view the cutting line from the left
side. The finger bow design is naturally reversed to accomodate being held in the left hand.
These Soft 'n Sharp scissors are tailor-made for Dressmaking Professionals.
They are 'bent-handled' to keep hands away
and allow the scissors to be raised as little as
possible from the cutting table. Smaller scissors
would fail to make the long clean cut necessary,
when cutting out for dressmaking, fabric or
home furnishings.
They feature an 8 inch blade with micro-serration for gripping
fine fabrics such as silks etc.
The micro-serrated blade is created using a
meticulously and finely ground serrated
edge, which is simply unmatched by any
other manufacturer.
Soft'n Sharp scissors are made using a special
handle material. This ensures a quite unique
comfort experience when using the scissors
for any length or period of time. The material
is also pliable making it virtually impossible to
break or even crack, unlike handles made
from
ABS plastic.

The finest quality stainless steel is worked with
vanadium, which is a hard and grey metallic
element that is used in small quantities, to
