The Janome Taping Guide Foot is used for attaching tape and binding to the edge of fabrics. With an adjustable guide, this Taping Guide Foot (sometimes referred to as a “Taping” Foot”) can accomondate tape up to 20mm in width. Perfect for creating the finish edge on clothing, table runners, and no-fill quilting, and can work with single fold tape, double-fold bias tape, and fabric strips (cut on the bias).

The key is to get the needle as close to the fastener as possible which this foot accomplishes by slightly unrolling the zipper just before the needle. It is very easy and quick to stitch an invisible zip into a garment or craft project.
